Duma Weekend
12:25 AMSo an escapade was in order for me after everything that happened for the past couple of weeks. Knowing what I was going through, my aunt and uncle took me with them on their trip to Negros. Yes, I am one lucky (and pretty) niece.
This post is about a month overdue so details about the trip has become quite blurry for me. However, as much as I can, I will share to you the experience and all the other whatnots.
A little heads up: All these photos were taken from our Samsung Phones (this is not a sponsored post, though). Just thought I'd put that on the record.
Our road trip started from our home to Santander, Cebu, which took roughly about 3-4 hours (time delay due to traffic included). Upon reaching the port in Santander, we graciously took a 30-min boat ride. One amazing thing about the boat ride is that you don't have to get out of the car while you're on the barge. It's literally like you're still on the road.
From the port in Santander, the barge docked at the port in Dumaguete City, where we eventually set foot on the place where the Pulang Bato Falls and the "Smokey" Sulfur Mountain is located.
We had a delightful meal at the Tierra Alta Cafe.
I've been into eating vegetable salads lately, so it was quite predictable of me to order one. And yes, that Caesar Salad IS delicious - so delicious.
Included in our trip are the following places:
The Twin Lakes - Lake Balinsasayao
and the Ruins
But the highlight of my trip was the Campuestohan Highlands Resort. The place was literally a child's fantasy.
Okay, so I'm just gonna share a couple selfies in here.
Over all, the much needed vacation was really fun and we're already planning to go back to Campuestohan next year. So fingers crossed on that.
The blog post is a bit hastily done. Forgive me for that. Every photo was edited through my smartphone. Literally have zero time to edit through my laptop's photoshop. So me blogging right now, is just really a much needed release of some sort of energy, so as to redirect my thoughts to something less gloomy. And I'm just juicing myself up, sharpening my writing blades, perhaps, because it has gone kind of stale lately. Just really want to get back out here and do what I think I do best.
I guess, that's it for now. You can hit me with queries about the trip on the comments below.
Keep Posted.
