On Sundays, We Art: Poems
10:34 PM
Poetry has been a popular/trendy thing right now. All thanks to the rise of spoken poetry, my interest about poems have heightened. Even more when I receive newsletters from a friend who has been really great at them. His newsletters contain a poem of which he had wonderfully made. Although, I admit my creativity when it comes to poems is almost non-existent, I can somehow attest to the beauty of the poems he has been making. Contemporary poets like Lang Leav and Michael Faudet are probably the inspirations of our generation when it comes to creating such masterpieces.
This week, I share to you the very first newsletter poem that I received from this friend of mine. (Forgive my photoshop artistry, though) Until now, I have been receiving his newsletters and they inspire the inner "poet" in me. Poems are the kind of literature that is bounded with little to no rules, that is why it can be a perfect way of expressing what we feel, what inspires us, or simply what's on our flimsy hearts and imaginative minds.
As a visual presentation of what I actually felt upon reading the poem, I've came up with this. I hope you felt the poem as much as I felt it too.
