Sunnies Face Fluffmate: A Review

1:07 AM

I'm no longer sure on how I'm going to do about this whole blogging thing since I've been pretty much aloof for most of the year. One of my resolutions this year was to be able to 24 create blog posts to which I am evidently failing. But when you want to actually do something, you just don't easily give up at the first sign of failure. Now as I attempt to keep my blogging self on track, I'm going to make an unfiltered review on the Sunnies Face Fluffmate lippies.

When I received the newsletter about these new Sunnies Face lippies, I was already enticed by the nude shades on their line up. I've never been a big fan of bold lip colors so I've already been long planning to get myself one of these.

COLOR/SHADES
Their nude shades are my absolute fave. It has a variety of shades that will complement any skintone. The current shade I've been using is Girl Crush since I have a slightly lighter complexion. I also like using Casual but it would appear darker on me. Nonetheless, I still love both shades. Girl Crush is kind of like my go-to shade when I'm out with my girlfriends while Casual is when I want to go out looking quite edgy with my combat boots on.

PIGMENTATION
Definitely, highly pigmented.

LONG-LASTING
This is probably one of the downside to using Sunnies Face Fluffmate. While the colors and pigmentation is superb, its longevity throughout the entire day is an absolute thumbs down. After a few bites of that salad (if you're pretentious like me), the applied lippie on the wetter portion of your lips will have been wiped out. Reapplying every after you munch is simply a must if you don't want to look like a drag.

PACKAGING
I can give it an 8 out of 10. Or a 9, if that isn't too much of a stretch. As a fan of minimalism, the packaging really sits well with me.

PRICE
For a local brand with competitors like (considerably) Maybelline, Happy Skin, Nyx and etc., the price is at par to what you should normally expect. I believe, as of writing, it's priced at 395 php. Personally, it is quite on the budget.

I hope you got something out of this post though. Making a review via blogging is probably kind of old school with the emergence of vlogging on Youtube, but I'd like to keep my internet presence this way for now. And besides, I enjoy writing more than talking. (Probably why vlogging may not be for me)

Thank you for reading. I hope you read my next post soon.

Much love,

Bianca
